Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold é uma banda estado-unidense de metal alternativo formada em 1999 na cidade de Huntington Beach, na Califórnia. A banda chegou ao mainstream com o álbum City of Evil de 2005, que inclui singles como Burn It Down, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot e Seize The Day. O sucesso da banda continuou com seu álbum homônimo, que inclui singles como Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Afterlife, Scream e Dear God.
O nome Avenged Sevenfold (Vingado sete vezes, em português) é uma referência ao livro do Gênesis na bíblia quando Caim é sentenciado a viver em exílio por matar seu irmão.


Avenged Sevenfold it's the name of an american Alternative Metal band formed in 1999 at the city of Huntington Beach, California. The band has come to the mainstream with the album City of Evil from 2005, wich includes singles as Burn it Down, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot and Seize the Day. The success of the band continued with their homonym album, wich includes singles as Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Afterlife, Scream and Dear God.
The name Avenged Sevenfold it's a reference to the bible Genesis book, when Caim is sentenced to live in exile for killing his brother.

Atualmente a banda se encontra sem baterista, devido a morte do "The Rev" no dia 28 de dezembro de 2009. (Actually the band is without a drummer, due to the death of "The Rev" in 28th December, 2009.)
