Gorillaz

Gorillaz é uma “banda virtual” formada por personagens insanos. Seus componentes surreais são os loucos: 2D no vocal e no teclado, Murdoc no baixo, Noodle na guitarra e Russel na bateria. Os cabeças por trás da banda são Damon Albarn (Blur, que coordena a banda e trabalha com a parte musical), e Jamie Hewllet ( que desenha os personagens e trabalha com as partes de imagens, design e vídeo). De estilo variado, o Gorillaz produz músicas que vão desde o Rap, Trip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Punk, Ska, Reggae, até um pouco de Heavy Metal. Definitivamente, possuem seu próprio estilo, difícil de ser classificado.

The heads behind the band are Damon Albarn (Blur, who coordinates the band and works within the musical part) and Jamie Hewllet (who draws the characters and work within the image, design and video parts). From a variated style, the Gorillaz produces musics that goes from Rap, Trip-Hop, Hip Hop, Punk, Ska and Reggae up to Heavy Metal. Definitely, they have their own style, turning it difficult to be classified.
